Is this just website hosting?
No. Gecko Care combines managed WordPress hosting with updates, backups, security monitoring and expert support. Every plan includes time for website changes and advice, with additional performance and WooCommerce care depending on your plan.
Can you move my existing WordPress website?
Yes. Website migration is included with every Care plan. Once you subscribe, we’ll contact you to arrange the move, explain what access we need and handle the transfer for you.
Will my website be offline during the move?
We aim to move your website without downtime, preparing and checking the new hosting before switching it over. If a short interruption is needed, we’ll explain why and agree the timing with you.
Do you support ecommerce websites?
Yes. Commerce Care is designed for WooCommerce stores, including maintenance and checks on checkout, payments and order emails. If you run a large or high-volume store, contact us first so we can tailor the hosting and care to your needs.
Can you help if my website has been hacked?
Yes. If your website has been hacked, or you suspect something is wrong, contact us before subscribing. We’ll review the situation and agree the recovery work and cost with you before starting.
What happens after I subscribe?
We’ll contact you to organise your website’s move to Gecko, explain what access we need and agree the timing. We handle the transfer and checks, then take care of your website under your chosen plan.
How does the offer price work?
Join by 31 October 2026 and the price shown is your ongoing monthly rate. The joining deadline does not end your discount.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can cancel at any time with one month’s notice. If you’re moving to another provider, you or your new provider will need to arrange the transfer before your service ends. Migration away from Gecko is not included.
Can I keep my existing email provider?
Yes. Your email can stay with your existing provider when your website moves to Gecko. If you’d like us to manage your email too, managed mailboxes are available as an optional add-on during checkout.
Do you offer business email hosting?
Yes. We offer managed business email using your own domain, with 10GB of storage for $7 per mailbox per month. Gecko manages the service and provides support. You can add the mailboxes you need during checkout.
What if I need more help than my plan includes?
If you need additional support or work beyond your plan’s allowance, we’ll discuss what’s needed and agree the price with you before starting.
